Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using VoiceAbroad ("the App") operated by Afterimage Dev ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using VoiceAbroad, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

1.1 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use VoiceAbroad for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

1.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App
• Use the App to transmit harmful or malicious content

1.3 Intended Use

VoiceAbroad is designed as a travel translation aid. While we strive for accuracy, translations may not be perfect. The App should not be relied upon for:

• Medical emergencies (always seek professional help)
• Legal matters or official documents
• Safety-critical communications
• Professional or commercial translation services

2. In-App Purchases

2.1 Language Packs

VoiceAbroad offers additional language packs for purchase. Purchases are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and conditions.

2.2 Pricing

• Language pack prices are displayed in your local currency
• Prices may change; existing purchases are not affected
• All prices include applicable taxes

2.3 Delivery

Upon successful purchase, language packs are available for immediate download within the App. Download requires an internet connection.

2.4 Ownership

Purchased language packs are licensed to you, not sold. Your licence remains valid as long as you comply with these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Our Property

VoiceAbroad, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Afterimage Dev and protected by intellectual property laws. This includes:

• The App's user interface and design
• Curated phrasebook content
• App icons and graphics

3.2 Third-Party Components

VoiceAbroad incorporates open-source components, each subject to their respective licences. These are listed in the App under Settings > About > Open Source Licences.

3.3 Your Content

Any text you input for translation remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your translations or recordings.

4. Disclaimers

4.1 "As Is" Basis

VoiceAbroad is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability of translations

4.2 Translation Accuracy

We do not guarantee that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Machine translation has inherent limitations. Always use common sense and, when important, verify translations with a human translator.

4.3 Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App or that the App will be error-free. The offline functionality depends on previously downloaded language packs.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Afterimage Dev shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
• Damages arising from translation errors or misunderstandings

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of VoiceAbroad shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Afterimage Dev from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

7. Termination

7.1 By You

You may stop using VoiceAbroad at any time by uninstalling the App.

7.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to VoiceAbroad immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms.

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

8. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Update system requirements
• Release new versions

We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website or within the App. Your continued use of VoiceAbroad after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Afterimage Dev regarding VoiceAbroad.
