What is Vow-Vibes?

Put simply, Vow-Vibes is a web app that allows couples getting married to curate wedding playlists with ✨AI✨.
What makes this special? There's a few features that make this quite fun.
So you can select your "mood" for the playlist. You want high-energy pop tracks? Go for it. Orchestral string-quartet numbers? Very nice. Scottish ceilidh? Excellent choice. The mood you pick chooses the tunes you get back. There's 14 moods to pick from, and if none of them suit your taste then you can supply your own! Death metal Disney covers? If you must...
Next, there are some smart filtering options. You can choose the decades your songs are from - do you want your playlist to be made of tracks from 1990 to 2010? Or, if you're of a certain vintage, you can go all the way back to the 1950's. Pick a range from then up until the dizzying future age of the 2020's.
I mentioned having a Scottish ceilidh above. You can request exactly that with the "local flavour" option - a drop-down list of countries to fetch music from. The country you select is where your playlist's artists will be from. Combine it with the mood selection and there's a lot of flexibility in what music you can get back!
If you have a favourite artist, and you'd like similar tracks to what they do, finally there is the 'artist inspiration' field. Enter your artist here and you'll get back similar tracks, not to mention songs from your chosen artist.
If this is starting to sound like a sales pitch, I suppose it is.
So you're all set up. Time to generate your playlist. Vow-Vibes uses Google's Gemini AI to go off and find song recommendations using the criteria you've provided. Then, songs are listed for your perusal! If you like a recommendation, you can add it to your playlist with an Add button. If you see a song and have an "aww yiss I love this song" moment, there are Spotify and YouTube links to follow. The links don't exactly take you to the song/video, they're more URLs with search terms, but they get you there!
If you want to generate more tracks, go ahead. The AI's under strict instructions to get you more tracks, without any repeats.
Before long you'll have built your playlist. There are some Export options to take your playlist onward. Print a PDF to give to your wedding DJ and/or band! I'm also planning some direct Spotify integration to instantly create the playlist, but they're not allowing new developer applications just now.
